COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL
BATTERY GENERATOR BACKUP
Backup power is fundamentally about what you want to keep running and for how long. Solar-plus-storage can be designed to power critical circuits during outages and reduce reliance on the grid day-to-day. Battery systems can also be installed as standalone backup solutions depending on site needs and equipment compatibility.
Design starts with three questions:
-
What circuits are critical (refrigeration, well pump, heat-related systems, medical equipment, communications)?
-
What peak loads and surge loads exist (motors, compressors)?
-
What runtime do you expect (hours vs. days)?
From there, we size storage, select compatible inverters/controls, and—when appropriate—design generator integration so you have layered resilience during extended outages and winter weather events.

FOR BUSINESSES, BACKUP IS ABOUT CONTINUITY:
protecting equipment, avoiding downtime, and keeping critical operations live. We usually segment loads so backup power supports what matters most, without forcing a battery system to carry the entire facility.

FEDERAL INCENTIVE ACCURACY
Federal incentives and timelines matter—but they also change. For homeowners, the IRS states the Residential Clean Energy Credit equals 30% for qualifying property installed from 2022 through Dec. 31, 2025, and the credit is not available for property placed in service after Dec. 31, 2025 (with carryforward rules for unused credit amounts based on eligibility). Because tax situations are individualized, we recommend confirming eligibility with a qualified tax professional.
For commercial and public-sector projects, the IRS describes the Clean Electricity Investment Credit for qualifying facilities and energy storage placed in service after Dec. 31, 2024, with a base credit and potential increases, and it also notes options like elective payment/transfer may be available to certain tax-exempt and government entities (with pre-filing registration). We coordinate closely with your financial stakeholders so the technical system design supports your procurement and compliance requirements.
